What we believe and teach:
Unlock the Bible Now, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping people unlock the secrets of the Bible and understand why the Bible is written in a mystery form. We teach there is an age-old spiritual battle between the Creator God and a group of rebellious angels led by Satan. The final phase of this battle began when God created Man to have dominion over the earth. Now, Satan and his angels want to take control of the planet and prevent God’s Son, Jesus Christ, from taking His rightful throne on the earth. Long ago, humanity joined Satan in his rebellion, but God deeply desires to save all who will trust Him. All truth and understanding hinge around God’s plan of redemption for mankind through His Son Jesus, and He hid the secrets in the Bible so that Satan will be defeated and His Redeemed can know the victorious outcome.
Our mission is to show people how to unlock the secrets in the Bible that the world doesn’t want them to know. Our passion is to be the best and most trusted resource for understanding Scripture for as many individuals as possible.
We believe and teach these truths:
Salvation: Salvation is a free gift without any work whatsoever. Forgiveness is available to all who believe that Christ died for their sins, was buried and rose again, and that God forgave us for Christ’s sake. If by Grace, it is no more work. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved from the coming wrath!
God’s Word: We believe that the King James Bible is God’s inspired and preserved Word without error in English, and we use this version in our studies and podcasts. We should be as the noble Bereans in the book of Acts and search the Scriptures daily with all readiness of mind.
Doctrine: Unlock the Bible Now, Inc. believes and holds fast to the fundamentals of the faith, such as the deity of Christ, the virgin birth, the blood atonement, and the divine inspiration of the Scriptures. We agree that the best way to study Scripture is to rightly divide the Word of Truth according to 2 Timothy 2:15. We believe that following Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, as he followed Christ, is our best example to demonstrate the Love of Christ and further His message of Grace.
Ministry: Our ministry is to preach the Gospel of the Grace of God whereby the lost will be saved and to teach the Word of God rightly divided so that saints will be edified. We have resources for all ages and believe teaching children the Word of God is essential. We believe in being a source of fellowship and Bible study, providing online opportunities for both. To that end, we provide the resources of Unlock the Bible Now Sunday messages and Bible Mysteries Podcast.
Meet the Team
Scott Mitchell
A mind opening Bible Teacher and host of Bible Mysteries podcast, Scott has been a student of the Bible, Bible history and Bible mysteries for over 40 years. His careers have spanned music, legal support and technology. A frequent guest on other platforms like Thursday Night Theology with Ryan Pitterson, Conflict Radio with Michael Kopczyski, and radio programs like Coast 2 Coast with George Noory, Scott pastored a Bible church in Texas for 15 years and is the founder of Unlock the Bible Now Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry.
After years of study, Scott found the key to unlocking the secrets in the Bible to better understand what is occurring in these last days. Armed with a Pauline passage to be faithful stewards of the mysteries of God, Scott began Bible Mysteries Podcast and his biblemysteriespodcast.com website to share the truth about what the world is trying to hide!

John Potts
John was born in Ohio, but grew up in South Texas from the age of 7 in a small farming and ranching community in the area of Castroville, Texas. He graduated from Medina Valley High School and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Marketing in 1997. John began his career in the wine and spirits industry in Austin and worked around the state for approximately 20 years in both distribution and manufacturing. He is most recently know for being part of the original founding team of Deep Eddy Vodka. John is now retired from the industry and lives with his wife, Jana, and their three children in Bee Cave, TX just outside of Austin. His life focus is now on family and helping to expose the forces that suppress the truth of our world that needs to reach all people.
Sandi Mitchell
Sandi produces Bible Mysteries and is in charge of video editing, set design, marketing, promotion, and basically keeping these guys in line! Affectionately known as "Brainstorm," she essentially does everything Scott and John don't know how to do. There is no podcast without her!
